Dr. Anthony Galea M.D., philanthropist and renowned sports medicine doctor, is founder and medical director of The Institute of Sports Medicine Health & Wellness Centre, an internationally recognized sports medicine clinic in Toronto, Canada. He is an academic staff member of the University of Toronto and has lectured internationally on such topics as sports medicine, exercise, health and fitness. Dr. Galea has been a sports medicine doctor at the Olympic Games, is team physician for the Toronto Argonauts and a sports medicine consultant for numerous NFL players. Dr. Galea has a keen interest in biblical archaeology, is the father of six children and lives in Oakville with his family and wife Nela.
